The Dog House Groomers operate a strict one to one, appointment only package with you and your dog to deliver the very best service we can. We politely ask that dogs could be to be dropped off and picked up at the times requested so that appointments do not overlap. This is to ensure the safety of your loved one, which is paramount to us.

Hi, My name is Charlotte. I am a level 3 qualified dog groomer who is also qualified in canine first aid so feel safe knowing your best friend is in capable hands. I use praise and positive reassurance to make your dog feel happy and secure while they are being pampered and spoilt. I specialise in nervous and rescue dogs and I work closely with rescue centres in Romania (having 2 Rommys myself). With all the best equipment in a newly built cabin your dog will walk out feeling confident and gorgeously groomed to the highest of standards. I hope to welcome you to The Dog House very soon.

I took my Lhasa Apso to be groomed by Charlotte. Our first visit and what a transformation. Jimmy had not been groomed for 3 months due to the current coronavirus situation. Jimmy came home looking like a different dog, he could hardly see prior to grooming, his hair was so long ! Charlotte was friendly, professional, punctual and obviously very patient. I have already booked Jimmy's next grooming session. A gem and on my doorstep.

We took our nervous puppy to The Dog House for his first full groom, we immediately felt very comfortable leaving him with Charlotte as she is very calm and our dog loved her from the moment they met! It’s wonderful to have someone you can trust to look after your puppy and someone they like to visit. Smudge was so nervous that Charlotte explained she would like him to have little breaks in her garden or a little walk during the groom so she allowed extra time for this. When we went to pick him up we couldn’t believe it, he looked amazing, cockapoos are quite hard to cut so we can’t tell you how impressed we are with his new look, he’s so unbelievably handsome now! Thank you for an excellent service!

We moved to the area not so long ago and were worried about finding somewhere they would be patient and understanding with our Lhasa Apso, Ollie as he hates being groomed. Charlotte has been great. She's very calm and gentle with him. He just had his second hair cut with The Dog House and he comes out normal, not as traumatized as he did with the first person we tried in the area. Very happy to have found The Dog House

Took my old English sheep dog for a long over due cut (we gave her a trim during lockdown but we're no expert!!). She's a tricky dog to cut due to her temperament so to see her coming out looking so clean, well trimmed and happy was really reassuring. Great value for money and really friendly service. 100% would use again.
